We had planned to drive over the Hardknott Pass, but the road was closed so we could only get as far as Boot where I found a nice geocache partway up a little hill. We then ignored the SatNav for a while and found the Wrynose Pass instead and drove over that and then down into Ambleside for a second cache and a night in the Youth Hostel on the shores of lake Windermere.

Both caches were found easily.
